Please note that there have been changes to the starting times of the races due to Saturday morning kids sport - the Masters Men are now the first race to start.

Entry forms (team entries are done via the club entry stewards only). The entry forms have already been emailed to the various affiliated clubs.

Lovelock Relays 2009

On behalf of the Otago University Harrier and Multisport Club, I would like to invite your Club / School to compete in the 72nd annual Lovelock Relays.

Date: Saturday, 2nd of May 2009
Place: University Oval, Main Ground, Logan Park, Dunedin.
Format: Women and Mixed: 4 x 1500m
Men: 6 x 1500m
12 and under: 4 x 375m (1 lap each)

Provisional Timetable: (to be confirmed in ODT Sports Draw, Thursday 30 April)
Race 1: 10:00am Masters Men
Race 2: 10:40am Masters Women, Social Mixed
Race 3: 11:10am Men's B Grade, High School Boys
Race 4: 11:50am Women's B Grade, High School Girls
Race 5: 12:20pm 12 & Under (may be split into two races - separate and joint races will be available)
Race 6: 12.30pm Women's A Grade
Race 7: 1:00pm Men's A Grade
1:30 pm - Mass run round Logan Park / Gardens
2:30 pm - Prize giving: - Caledonian Club Rooms

N.B. Masters Men / Masters Women must be 35+ on the day of the race. High School Boys and High School Girls teams may be composed of runners from more than one school. 12 and under teams may be mixed teams. Masters and High School runners may run in the Men / Women grades but individual age grades must be included (for individual fastest times).

Race rules: Athletics NZ relay rules apply. Changes to a team running order must be on the forms provided and be handed to the computer operators not less than 45 minutes before the start of the race.

Entry forms: Will be emailed to clubs / schools. Please contact us if you require additional entry forms or electronic copies. Completed entry forms may be returned via post or email.

Entry fees: Women (including High School teams) and Social Mixed Teams……….. $40
Men's Teams (including High School teams)……………………………. $60
12 and under……………………………………………………………….Free
N.B. Entry fees will be invoiced to clubs/schools after the event, if not paid on the day.

Closing date for entries: 7pm, Sunday 26th April
*Late entries are negotiable with club secretary and may incur an additional fee.
